OUR MISSION

Working in a variety of physical theatrical forms including clown, mask, puppetry, dance, stilt-walking and acrobatics, the Nomadic Theatre Co strives to entertain and educate people through original, ensemble-based theatre in Portland, the Pacific Northwest and beyond. 

OUR HISTORY

The Nomadic Theatre Co, based in Portland, Oregon, has been creating and performing original physical theatre shows since 2002. To develop a new show, Nomadic performers/creators research ideas and themes which interest and excite them and delve into them in the studio through improvisation and play. The three core company members – Michael O’Neill, Sarah Liane Foster, and Heather Pearl – have performed and taught in communities across the United States as well as internationally. They are graduates of the Dell’Arte International School of Blue Lake, CA.
